Aerial Photos

The following are aerial photos of the Hutcheson Memorial Forest Center (HMFC) that show the change in the BSS old fields over time. As you look at the photos notice how the outlined areas get darker as the fields grow older. The indicates the increasing presence of shrubs and trees in the old fields. Below is a site map of the HMFC to help orient you to the aerial photos. BSS old fields are outlined in pink . Other areas of the Hutcheson Memorial Forest that have grown up over time are outlined in blue .
