These readings are designed to be short homework or in-class assignments that can give students a better sense of the Hudson River estuary as an ecosystem. They can be used individually or together.

Covering a variety of topics, these graphics can be used to help illustrate difficult ideas to students, such as pH or the nitrogen cycle, or as background information for the teacher.
