A 4-page report from Riverkeeper on the state of the Hudson's raw sewage from combined sewers.
- The Croton Project
An east-of-the-Hudson research initiative to study cultural eutrophication and its impacts. The site has some reports but requires a password to view the data (to gain access, contact the project leader).
- Hudson Basin River Watch
An organization dedicated to educating students and communities about the Hudson River by conducting water quality assessment studies. Includes an online quiz on macroinvertebrates.
- The Earth Institute
The Earth Institute at Columbia University does cutting-edge research on the Hudson River and their website has lots of information on current topics such as aerosols, carbon cycling, and nutrient transport. There are also links to the amazing benthic mapping tool under 'data, maps and tools'. This section of the website has a wealth of information for teachers looking for real data as well as specific projects, such as the Jamaica Bay or Piermont.

- Hudson Watershed Mapping Site
The FAR Hudson River Watershed Mapping site is an on-line information and mapping portal designed to serve the region's aquatic research, fisheries management and sports fishing communities. It allows users to view a map of the Hudson River watershed with various layers including tributaries and land cover.
- Hudson Valley Climate Change Conference
On Dec. 4, 2006, community members and scientists gathered to learn about the effects of climate change on the valley. This site includes all of the powerpoint presentations from the day, which includes information on how the rise in temperatures will affect wetlands, transportation, growing seasons, etc.
- Hudson River Estuary Program
A great website that includes loads of information on the Hudson River estuary, including weekly naturalist logs, a tour of the Hudson River, the Estuary Action Agenda, and a Calendar of Events.
- Hudson River School of Painting
A brief description of each and links to the paintings.
- Beczak Environmental Education Center
The center runs programs for students at their riverside site and also maintains a link with real-time data on the Hudson River.
