Our Mission
To develop a "language" of ecosystems for the public -
a way of thinking about and understanding the ecosystems we depend upon -
that people can use in their day to day lives.
 The Ecosystem Literacy Initiative will serve diverse and critical audiences:
- teachers and environmental educators
- environmental policy makers and natural resource managers
- education researchers
- new and established scientists
- the general public
