The month of August 2010 broke the dry trend but continued the warm trend of this year. The average temperature for August was 0.1 degrees F warmer than the 1971-2000 average for August for Millbrook. The maximum temperature for the month was 94 degrees F on August 31. The low temperature of 40 degrees F was just 3 days earlier on August 28.

The total precipitation for August 2010 was 5.02 inches, 118% of normal precipitation for August. The volume-weighted mean pH of the precipitation for August 2010 was 4.51. "Normal" precipitation pH is roughly 5.20.
