The Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs is responsible for the centrally organized administrative functions related to grant and contract administration. This office assists the scientific staff in the identification of funding resources, reviews and approves all proposals requesting funds from external organizations and negotiates all grants and contracts. It provides oversight and guidance in the administration of sponsored projects and assures that academic research policies and sponsor regulations are adhered to. This office is also responsible for the oversight of compliance issues such as, Conflict of Interest, Scientific Misconduct, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Review Board (IRB).
