Ecological Synthesis, Integration and Theory
Clive G. Jones
Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies
I have a long-standing interest in the use of theory in ecology and the importance of synthesis and integration as a means of advancing theory development. Below is a list of publications on this theme in addition to synthesis, integration and theory development in my other research areas (see Organisms as Ecosystem Engineers; Ecological Engineering; The Acorn Connections; Chemical Ecology). Cover: Pickett, Kolasa & Jones, 2007
